Early Detection has been designed to provide a reminder in order to perform a Breast Self Exam and to SCHEDULE an appointment to perform a MAMMOGRAPHY WITH A PROFESSIONAL PHYSICIAN.
This reminder is done by calculating based on the periodicity days between your menstrual cycle and the last day of your menstrual cycle, the dates to perform the self Exam.
There are some very IMPORTANT facts to consider:
1.- The Self Exam is NOT a substitute for a Regular Physician examination nor a Monograph examination.
2.- The Self-Exam is helpful to familiarize yourself with the shape,size and texture of your breast. This is important so you can inform your Doctor of any change you may find.
3.-Consult intermediately with your physician in case you observe a change.
Performing a regular check will help you detect any change. Again this is a combination of both regular Self-Exam and a Mammography examination performed by a certified Physician.
